The Winston Community Education Foundation is a non-profit organization formed to provide support and engage the community to advance academic achievement in the Winston-Dillard School District. You may think of us as a booster club for academics in our local schools.

The Winston Community Education Network has been working since 2008 to provide support and engage the community to advance academic achievement in the Winston-Dillard School District.

Here at the Winston Community Education Network our mission is a cohesive positive learning community, in which our students are valued, nurtured and educated to their highest possible potential and who in turn value enrichment in literacy and culture.

We raise funds for classroom supplies and curriculum materials for district schools. In the nine years of our existence, we have funded classroom activities and school requests at every school in the Winston-Dillard district. A few years ago, we raised over $16,000 for academic programs in our community, enabling us to purchase a SMART Board electronic blackboard to each school as well as fund a variety of additional requests from individual teachers. We have provided funds to teachers and classrooms for projects on a wide variety of academic subjects, including history, science, math, English, the arts, and cultural activities. We fund requests from teachers in our district up to $500 per request.
